An Octal Cable is a Cable with 8 Legs, with a SCSI connector at one end
and RJ-45 connectors at the end of each Leg
The SCSI connector must be connected to the Terminal Server, while the
RJ-45 connectors go into the Console Ports of the devices that you need to manage.
Therefore, with each of these Cables you get 8 separate connections, so that you can gain access up to 8 different devices.
They can be used with 2509 or 2511 Terminal Servers. A 2509 requires one Octal Cables, while a 2511 requires two Octal Cables.
