This is a Cisco CUCM Server version 12.5 with a Voice Gateway (H.323 Gateway + SIP Trunk)
This is a very unique product that is fully configure and ready to operate from the first minute!
The Server Platform is a Dell R620 PowerEdge with 32GB RAM running on VMware ESXi 6.5
The Voice Gateway is implemented with a Cisco 2911 Router with PVDM and FXO Cards.
Note: An active Phone Line is needed to make/receive External Phone Calls. The Phone Line can be implemented in multiple ways: standard Land Line, Vonage, Magic Jack, etc.
This Lab kit also includes 2 x Cisco 7940 IP Phones which are pre-configured in the Server!
The Router also provides DHCP functions for the IP Phones and for any device connected to it.
Once the physical connections are done, you'll be able to make Phone Calls either internally or to the outside world!

These are the main features of the Voice Gateway (Cisco 2911 Router):
- 256 Mb. in DRAM and 128 Mb. in Flash - 2911 Router is loaded with CME 12.0 (Call Manager Express)
- Cisco VIC2-2FXO Voice Card (with 2 PSTN Ports)
- Cisco PVMD3-16 Module (needed to enable the FXO Card)
This Lab kit also includes the following:
- Cisco IP Communicator 8.6 (a Software/Computer-based Phone)
- 2 x Cisco 7940 IP Phones - 2 x IP Phones Power Supplies (for the 7940's)
Phones are pre-configured in the CUCM Server. Simply make the physical connections and the Phones will be activated!
Voice Gateway Operation:
The CUCM Server is setup with an H.323 Gateway and SIP Trunk, which are connected to an FXO Card in the 2911 Router. FXO Card must be connected to the PSTN.
Incoming calls are re-directed to specific Extension Number (one of the IP Phones)

It also includes a non-activated copy of the Cisco VCS Video Server 8.9 (TelePresence Server)
As a Bonus, you'll also get a Windows 2012 Server VM (a separate VM within ESXi)
This Windows 2012 Server can be used to configure a Domain Controller (DC) in order to provide Active Directory Domain Services for authentication purposes.
CUCM License:
The CUCM Software installed in our Servers has a Non-Commercial/Educational License (or Demo License) with a 90 Days-Validity Period.
In other words, it expires after 90 Days, after which it needs to be re-installed.
For that purpose we provide all CUCM VMware-ready Images (OVA files).
The Software can be re-installed an unlimited number of times! Therefore, it can be used indefinitely!
